What is aelin and rowan?

Aelin and Rowan are characters from the Throne of Glass book series written by Sarah J. Maas.

Aelin Galathynius, also known as Celaena Sardothien, is the main protagonist of the series. She is a skilled assassin and the former Crown Prince's Champion of Adarlan.
